The neighbourhood
Located south of the University of Manchester campus, and just a couple of miles from the city centre, this area comes to life at night with its mix of award-winning restaurants, shisha bars and fast food curry houses staying open until 3 or 4 am. Coming away from the busy day and night life we turn towards Museums like the Gallery of Costume Museum which can be found tucked away in one of the many green havens Platt Fields Park, other beautiful parks have many other facilities home to tennis courts, a skate park and a BMX track popular with students in the area.
The area is also not too far from the concert arena O2 Apollo or The Palace Theatre on Oxford Street being in the centre of Manchester making it easy to travel to all destinations.

Getting around
The area has a brilliant bus route system making destinations easy to get to, with taxi bases plotted around making it another way of travel used to travel around Manchester. There is also a newly invested cycling route through the centre of the area linking to all different ways of travelling through different areas.
